PUE’s Teacher of the Year Mr. Judge Lucas!

Jud Lucas has his Bachelor’s degree in Spanish from USM. He has his Master’s degree in Public Relations and completed the alternate route program through William Carey to obtain his Special Education degree and now he is currently pursuing his doctorate degree in curriculum and Instruction

He has spent his entire teaching career in the special education department at PUE. He is the father of two boys and is married to another teacher, Haylee Lucas. When not working with his students, Jud can be found in his workshop crafting woodworking projects, watching football, and spending time outside with his family. Jud’s workday is fueled by several cups of coffee, and he says he is blessed to be part of the PUE family.
