“Real Life Author” Visits PLE

PLE students were treated to a very special guest this week! New author, Katie Breland Hughes, came and read her new children’s book “Perfectly You” to Kindergarten and First Grade students. Katie Breland Hughes’ new book brings light to children with disabilities. Her message through this book is that “even though we are all different, we are still just as important!” The students loved getting to meet a “real life author” and loved her story even more! Students had the opportunity to purchase a copy of her book and Mrs. Hughes was able to sign and personally deliver their copy!
