STUMPAGE FOR SALE

ON POPLARVILLE SCHOOL DISTRICT TRUST LANDS

SEALED bids will be received by the Poplarville School District Board of Trustees, 302 South Julia Street, Poplarville, MS 39470 up to and not later than 1:00 p. m. on March 25, 2021 at the Poplarville School District Board of Trustees office located in Poplarville, MS 39470.  Bids will be received for the purchase on a lump sum basis for all timber, standing or down, designated for harvesting on approximately +104 acres in Section 16, Township 2 South, Range 15 West, Pearl River County, Mississippi.  

The final harvest sale contains approximately +104 acres of mixed pine and hardwood, and the estimated harvest volumes are as follows: 

Pine Sawtimber        3,513 Tons

Pine Pole                         53 Tons

Pine Chip-N-Saw          595 Tons

Pine Pulpwood             465 Tons

Hardwood Pulpwood   477 Tons

Hardwood Sawtimber  123 Tons
