Football: Last week, the PHS football team competed in a jamboree game against East Central and took home a victory of 21-7. This week, on September 4th, they will go head to head with JDC at Dobie Holden Stadium on the campus of PRCC. All varsity games begin at 7:00 PM.

Ticket Information: Since the game will be played on a college campus there will be 25% capacity. Pre-sale tickets for players, cheerleaders, and band members will be Monday and Tuesday. Each participant will be allowed to purchase 2 tickets. Pre-sale to the general public will take place on Wednesday and Thursday from 9AM to 11 AM at the PHS office. All pre-sale tickets are 8$ and any left over tickets will be sold at the gate for 10$ each.

Cross Country: Due to the weather last week Cross Country rescheduled their tryouts to this Tuesday, September 1st from 3:00-3:30 pm on the PHS band Field. You can sign up at the front office. Good luck!!!!!

Volleyball: The volleyball team started off the season with two games last week. On August 25, PHS played an away game against Perry Central. They fought well and came home with the winning score of 3-0. On August 27, they lost a close game against Pass Christian with a score 2-3.

This week, two home games will take place. On September 1st, varsity will play against North Forrest. On September 3rd, they will go against Bay High. Varsity volleyball games start at 5:00.
