Congratulations to Dr. Marlene Cole upon her retirement from the Poplarville School District.  Dr. Cole is retiring with 27 years of service to our district. She taught Business & Computer Technology at the Career Development Center for 13 years. While in the classroom she was the sponsor for Future Business Leaders of America traveling with students to state and national competitions from Orlando, FL to Anaheim, CA, and lots of places in between. She was one of the first in the district to achieve National Board Certification and completed her Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of Southern Mississippi.  In 2006 she took over the helm of Director of Career and Technical Education for the district. Her future plans are to travel with her husband across the United States and photograph as many waterfalls as possible.  We wish you the best of luck in your adventures.
