BASEBALL

On the last week of February, our Poplarville Baseball team participated in three matches. They played at Bay High on the 22nd at 6:00 and came home with a win of 13 points. The team also played at home against Laurel on the 25th at 5:00 and gained another win for Poplarville High with a total of 14 points. For their final game of February, our baseball team traveled to Hancock on the 29th at 2:00 and came up short by only one point with a final score of 8-9. For the first week of March, the boys will first play at home against resurrection on the 3rd at 6:00. Then they will have a match at PRCC on the 6th with Bay High at 5:00. On the 7th the boys will travel to McComb and play at 1:00. Good luck to our baseball boys as the season kicks into high gear.

RODEO

This week there is an upcoming rodeo. On Friday March 6, The Poplarville II Rodeo will be hosted at the Poplarville Arena. We hope to see you all out to support our riders. 

SOFTBALL

On Friday, February 28, 2020, the Poplarville varsity softball team traveled to Gulfport to compete. Unfortunately, the Lady Hornets lost by a score of 8-3. On Monday, March 2, 2020, the varsity team will play at home against Picayune. Then on Thursday, March 5, 2020, they will travel to Columbia. The softball team will travel to Harrison County on Saturday, March 7, 2020.  Picayune and Columbia games will start at 6:30 p.m, and the Harrison County game is to be announced.
