ARCHERY

The archery tournament scheduled for Feb. 27th has been cancelled.

On Thursday, February 20th, our Poplarville High School Archery team had a meet with Hancock county, hosted in the Poplarville Middle School gym at 5:00 pm.

BASEBALL

On Saturday, February 22nd, the Poplarville baseball team traveled to Bay High and came home with a victory of 13-0. The baseball team continued their success by playing Laurel at home on Tuesday, February 25th, and came up with a winning score of 14-0. This week, Poplarville’s baseball team will travel to Hancock on Saturday, February 29th to compete in a double header. The first game will begin at 12:00pm and they will end with a game starting at 2:00pm.

RODEO

Next week, there is an upcoming rodeo at the Poplarville Rodeo Arena.
The Poplarville II Rodeo will take place on March 6th, times pending. We hope you all come out to support our riders and cheer them on. Ride on Poplarville!

SOFTBALL

On Friday February 21, 2020 Poplarville Lady Hornets varsity softball team travelled to Bay High to compete in a non-conference game at 6:30 p.m. Unfortunately, the Lady Hornets lost by a score of 16-5. On Monday, February 26, 2020 at 12:00 p.m, the varsity team travelled to Picayune and won by a score of 15-4. This week, the girls will travel to Gulfport on Friday, February 28, 2020. The time for this game is currently pending.
