CDC Students Gain Valuable Life Lessons on Careers and College from The Horse Guru and Guests

Several CDC classes were able to experience a presentation from the faces behind Poplarville’s very own world-class horse trainer. Three speakers came including Michael Gascon of Horse Haven Ranch along with Kelsey Lauberth and Kelly Harker. Michael is known as The Horse Guru, and Kelly is the owner/creator of Trixie Chicks, who are trick riders who perform amazing physical feats on horseback. Kelly is visiting from Queensland, Australia, in order to train with Kelsey in trick riding.

The classes were able to hear about the guests’ stories of past experiences and how they ended up where they are now. The classes listened to life lessons and advice on choosing a career and college.Michael is presenting the Never Give Up tour February 1 and 2 at the Forrest County Multipurpose Center, which will also feature Trixie Chicks along with several other equestrian entertainment and talent.
