HOSA Student Slated to Compete at International Leadership Conference

Zoe Farve is headed to the HOSA International Leadership Conference at Walt Disney World in June to compete in Physical Therapy. She started off at district which led her to state, and now nationals!  She prepared for about four months by practicing her skills every day for about an hour.  She would spend her break and many hours after school studying and perfecting her skills. When she was not practicing, she was participating in fundraisers with the help of other HOSA members.  Some of the fundraisers were candy sales, chili cheese fries sales, and pizza sales every other Friday during break. With her hard work, she placed 4th at district which qualified her for state competition. At state competition, she placed 1st in her event which qualified her to compete at the international level.  Zoe will be competing at nationals to represent Poplarville High School’s Health Sciences student organization, HOSA.
