Graduation 2018

Poplarville High School will host our Senior Awards Night program 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 22nd. The Senior Awards ceremony will be held in the Marvin R. White Coliseum on the PRCC Campus, in Poplarville, MS. At this ceremony the seniors will receive scholarships and awards. Seniors should be seated by 6:30.

Professional cap and gown pictures will be available on Wednesday, May 23rd from Janel Blakeney from 10:00-2:30 at PHS. Seniors should bring their own cap and gown if they would like to take pictures.

Graduation will be Thursday, May 24th at 7:00 p.m. for all students who have met the graduation requirements. The ceremony will take place at the Marvin R. White Coliseum on the PRCC campus, Poplarville, MS. Seniors will take pictures for IHL, CDC, honors and high honors at 6:00. Seniors not taking pictures should be in their respective hallways to line up no later than 6:15. Doors will open to the public at 6:30 p.m. There is no limit on the number of guests allowed per graduate.

We are excited to honor our PHS Class of 2018 and ask all seniors to dress appropriately for these formal events. Young men are expected to wear dress pants or slacks (no jeans, sunglasses, sandals, flip-flops, or tennis shoes). Young ladies will wear a dress or dress pants with brown, black, nude or white shoes (no jeans, sunglasses, flip-flops, or tennis shoes).  Graduation gowns cannot be altered in any way. Students may decorate the top of their hats. Students not dressed appropriately can be dismissed from the awards program and/or graduation.
