Contending for State Championship Ring # 2

Zanaisha Turner, junior at PHS, is no stranger to State Championships. On May 6, 2016, Zanaisha will compete for her second state championship in triple jump. She will also vie to win the championship in long jump. Since she has gone undefeated in the triple jump for three years, her goal is to continue being undefeated until she graduates May 2017. She is the district, regional, and south gold medalist in triple jump. She is also the silver medalist in long jump as well. She is the MVP of the girls track team scoring over 100 points this season. She helped to lead to varsity to girls to a second place finish in district, a third place finish in regionals, and a fourth place finish in South State!!
