PHS Cat Pack Attends Clinic

Members of the Poplarville High School Cat Pack attended the Pearl River County Animal Shelter Vaccination/Microchip Clinic Saturday, May 2, 2015.  This is the second time this school year that the Cat Pack members have attended the clinic.  The purpose of the event was to provide low cost vaccinations and microchips for cats and dogs.  The students assisted the pet owners with paperwork.  The Poplarville Cat Pack members enjoyed the experience and hope to attend the next clinic in the Fall.  Hopefully the students will continue to volunteer at the animal shelter in our county or where ever they may live and work in the future.  Citizens can volunteer many ways at the shelter, here are only a few examples:  they can walk dogs, play with kittens, wash dogs, and help at shot clinics.
