Pearson Selected NSCAA State Player of the Week

The MaxPreps/NSCAA High School State Players of the Week have been announced for the week of December 8 – 14. The NSCAA will use results and statistics provided by MaxPreps to select one boy and one girl Player of the Week in each state across the country.
 
CAMERON PARK, Calif. — The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) and MaxPreps.com, the online high school sports leader and a CBSSports.com site, are expanding their partnership in 2014 to include a State Player of the Week program. This program was created in an effort to promote high school soccer and highlight accomplishments of the nearly 800,000 student-athletes participating in the sport annually throughout the entire nation.
 
The player of the week selected for December 8th-14th is:
Noah Pearson
Poplarville High School
Poplarville, MS
 
This also the first week for winter sports “Player of the Week” selections. During the week of December 8th-14th in two games Noah scored 6 goals, 3 assist and totaled 15 points. In doing so the Poplarville High School Hornets won both games by a score of 13-0 and 3-2.
