MSP TLC Applies Positive Pressure

On Friday, October 3, 2014, Mrs. Melony Davis from First Baptist Church of Poplarville demonstrated to MSP TLC members how pressure reveals “what is on the inside.”  She chose a student to hold a paper plate with four items:  coal, an egg, a banana, and a grape.  Other students volunteered to squeeze each item and see if the item changed under pressure.  All items were changed but the coal.  With this neat demonstration, students learned that if they are like coal, when enough pressure is applied, they will reveal they are a shining diamond.
