To participate in MAE's Be a Champion and Read Your Way to the Egg Bowl contest, the student must read six (6) reading-level appropriate books and record the titles on the Book List form. When the Book List is complete, it will be sent home to be signed and returned. A parent/guardian signature is required to be eligible to win. The signed Book List Form/parent letter must be returned to the student’s language arts teacher by October 29th.
Students will choose one team they support (MSU or Ole Miss) and can only enter the contest once. There will be a MSU winner and an Ole Miss winner. The two winning students and two guests each will receive free tickets to the Egg Bowl. They will be guests in the athletic hospitality room and visit the field during the pre-game activities.
The contest is open to Mississippi students in grades K-8. Winners will be notified by November 21, 2014.
