Students Attend National Competition in San Antonio, TX

Students from the Poplarville High School Career Center attended the National FCCLA (Family, Career, Community, Leaders of America) Leadership Conference and STAR events (Student, Taking, Action for Recognition) Competition July 6-10, 2014.  Pictured right to left, are Christopher Alexander who placed 2nd and received a silver medal for his project on Career Investigation, Jade McGill and La’Dasecia Cotton-Robinson who placed 2nd and received silver Medals for their project on Sports Nutrition, and Austin Smith who placed 3rd and received a Bronze medal for his National Programs -Power of One project on Autism.
