 The Allied Health I students have been learning the proper techniques for taking vital signs. Students demonstrate taking oral temperatures with a glass thermometer, blood pressures, pulse, and respirations. Students must know the normal measurements of each to be able to detect possible problems with their “patient”.
The Allied Health II students have been studying careers and procedures related to Laboratory Technology. The students conducted a simulated blood typing exercise Friday February 19. The spring blood drive will be held March 26 so get ready to roll up your sleeves.
