The students in Mrs. Lisa Bagley’s Kindergarten Class completed a “My Five Senses” unit. Students participated in daily activities which focused on their sight, hearing, touching, smelling, and tasting. To end the lesson, students learned about their taste buds and where taste buds are located on the tongue. Students then tasted food items that were salty, sour, sweet, and bitter. The lemon was definitely a favorite!! |

Parents may visit the classrooms from 6:00pm – 6:25pm.
At 6:30pm there will be an informational meeting in the auditorium
with an overview of rules and expectations. |

Poplarville Lower Elementary will have Get Acquainted Day on Tuesday, August 3, 2010 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. Parents and students who wish to attend can meet their teacher and bring school supplies. Any new Kindergarten students who have not registered or finalized registration can also do so during this time or any other day before then during regular office hours. Please call the office at (601) 795-4736 to verify what documentation you will need to bring with you. |
