Cowboys, hats, animals, underwear, and Mardi Gras beads. These are just a few of the things that could be seen at P.L.E.s Book Parade. Each class selected a book or story that they had read, and the students dressed up as characters from that book. Then dressed in their costumes, the students and staff paraded down Main Street. This years Book Parade was held on Thursday, March 29. A large number of people attended the parade, and everyone seemed to have a great time! |

Mrs. Sharon Shiveleys 5th grade science classes recently spent time learning about electricity. The students conducted numerous experiments to distinguish between open/closed circuits and simple series/parallel circuits. Upon completion of the experiments, the students created Electrical Safety Posters to make other students at PUE aware of safety precautions when dealing with electricity. |
