The 2006 Hornet football season was one of many exciting events. Many first time in a long time events happened this year on the field. The Hornets won homecoming and the senior night games this year, which hasn?t happened in years. Coach Lance Mancuso has done an excellent job of doing a complete turn-around with the team and the atmosphere in the Hornet football program. On November 17th Ms. Malley?s Kindergarten class joined all Kindergarteners in reenacting the first feast of the Pilgrims and the Indians. Students spent the week before the holiday studying the history and tradition of Thanksgiving. Students dressed in Pilgrim and Native American costumes made in their classes and at home. The feast?s menu consisted of the traditional Thanksgiving foods prepared by the family and friends of the students. The volunteers also prepared the place settings and served over 150 students. Thank you to everyone for all of the help. |
