Poplarville School District has been awarded a federal Foreign Language Assistance Program Grant (FLAP) to support a three year K-2 Spanish language instructional program at Poplarville Lower Elementary School. We desperately need a native Spanish speaking paraprofessional to assist with a technology-delivered (video) Spanish instructional program to our seven Kindergarten classes. This proficiency-based Spanish instructional program relies heavily on a native Spanish speaking paraprofessional to help deliver the curriculum and promote cultural proficiency. The paraprofessional will make $10 hour and receive insurance benefits. If you know of a native Spanish speaking person who might be interested in a paraprofessional job in this program, please contact me as soon as possible at 601/795-8477. |
