 Tawana S. organized an Adopt-A-Teenager for Christmas event for her senior English product. Poplarville High School Student Council donated ten footballs to the adopted teenagers.  The Poplarville Middle and Senior High School Student Council and several senior English students participated during the turkey distribution at the Pearl River County Fair grounds November 19, 2005. Members of a Chicago, Illinois Church donated the turkeys and canned goods to the citizens of Poplarville.

 Two of Mrs. Joani Miller's students are helping in the PUE's office this year. Ta'Heem picks up the teachers' folders and lunch counts and delivers them to the office and cafeteria each morning. Bryan delivers the message folders back to the teachers at the end of the day. They are providing an outstanding service to the teachers and office staff.
