Poplarville School District Schools Closed March 16th-20th

Earlier today, Governor Tate Reeves declared a State of Emergency in Mississippi due to the quickly evolving concerns over the Coronavirus (COVID-19).  With the safety and health of our students, staff, and community in mind, Poplarville School District is canceling all classes effective March 16-20, 2020. In addition, all other school activities and events are canceled until further notice.

We are closely monitoring the situation and all guidance issued by the Centers for Disease Control, the Mississippi Department of Health, and the Mississippi Department of Education.  We will continue to keep the information posted as it becomes available.

The status of school operations will be updated and posted to www.poplarvilleschools.org weekly by Friday at 5:00 PM. However, additional information and resources will be distributed as the need arises. Stay healthy and safe!
