Meet Lisa Magee, Central Office’s Staff of the Year

I am so blessed to be a part of the Poplarville School District. My family and I moved here over 25 years ago in search of a better school system for our children. All of them graduated from PHS, and most of them continue to live in the district.

I have been married to my husband, Scott, for over 40 years. I enjoy camping, gardening, and repairing/selling older homes in the community.

Scott and I have six preschool-age grandchildren. Being a grandparent is easier than being a parent and a lot more fun! I just bought several used bicycles to have around for when they come.

I treasure the Maya Angelou quote, ” I’ve learned that people may forget what you said, people may forget what you did, but they will never forget how you made them feel.” I believe these are good words to live by in life.

I am so appreciative of being a part of PSD as we build for the future, and can’t wait to see what comes next.
