PUE Kindness Tree

As PUE Activity Teachers (library, p.e., music, and computer) we consider ourselves extremely blessed to be the adults who are able to connect with all students from grades 3-5. Our roles extend beyond each student’s weekly scheduled visits to each of our classrooms. We provide the PUE staff opportunities to collectively plan and conference.  We also work together as a team to plan and host grade level activities and rewards, guest speakers, author visits, field day, grandparents’ day, book fairs, plays, and other supplemental activies. These activities are often referred to as social and emotional learning. You know, “fun stuff”. The life skills that make academics attainable. Today’s society focuses on negativity. We choose to focus on the good and encourage our students to do the same. We created the kindness tree to recognize the acts of kindness that our students perform every day, both small and large.
