Backpacks for PLE’s Kindergarteners!

By now you may have already heard the great news that Keesler Federal Credit Union has donated backpacks with school supplies for PLE’s kindergartners!

The backpacks contain scissors, glue, markers, crayons, pencils, construction paper, hand sanitizer, pocket folders, erasers, highlighters, notebooks, a binder, dry erase markers, a box of tissues, a pencil case, and pencil cap erasers.

School employees are scheduled to pick up the backpacks late Wednesday afternoon. Backpacks will be sorted and ready to distribute to kindergarten students at Get Acquainted Day on Friday, August 2nd, from 3:30-5:30.

Also, don’t forget school supplies have been added to the list of tax-free items during Mississippi’s tax-free holiday, which is July 26 and July 27.
