Since 1973, Marlo McInnis has been an employee of the Poplarville High School Cafeteria. That is 45 years of dedicated service as the main cook and server in our cafeteria. She has committed herself to be a dedicated, loyal, and passionate employee.
Through these many years, she is known as a sweet, caring and considerate person, that always thinks of others before herself. Marlo is also known for dressing up in costume for homecoming week as well as all holidays. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, which includes four grandchildren. Every summer she visits her twin sister in Oklahoma. She continues to be a true inspiration to all that have the pleasure of knowing her.
Marlo is married to George McInnis and has two grown children. Her son Chris and his wife Cassie, also daughter Tammy and her husband, Mike. Her four grandchildren are Kelly, Riley, Tyler, and Tristan. Marlo is more than deserving to receive our Child Nutrition Employee of the Year for the Poplarville School District.
