PHS Teacher of the Year

Erin Breland is the Poplarville High School Teacher of the Year. She teaches Foundations of Algebra, Algebra 1 and Geometry. Erin started the Hygiene Pantry at PHS. She also oversees Backpack Buddies, First Priority and the Angel Tree program. Erin truly has a heart for our students and they always find her classroom to be an encouraging, supportive and nurturing environment. Erin’s teaching style makes non-loving math students feel they can master equations, polynomials and the Pythagorean theorem! Outside of school, Erin enjoys hunting, crafting and spending time with family.
