The Poplarville Hornets are the 2018 4A South State Champions! The Hornets defeated the East Central Hornets in Hurley Friday Night 33-17. Poplarville now has it’s 2nd chance to win it’s first ever football State Championship Saturday, December 1st, against the Louisville Wildcats. The game will be played at M.M. Roberts Stadium on the campus of USM in Hattiesburg. Kickoff is at 11:00am. Find Championship Week and Game Day information below:

-Presale tickets go on sale Tuesday November 27th at the PHS office from 9am to 2pm. Presale Tickets are $14 ($15 at the gate).
-Tickets can also be purchased online at WWW.GOFAN.CO/MHSAA
Gameday (Poplarville will be the visiting team and occupy the East Side of the Stadium)
-8:00am -The Hornets will depart from First Baptist Church
-8:00am- Parking and Tailgating open
-9:00am- “Hornet Walk” into the Stadium. All fans are encouraged to line up from “The Hub” to Gate 7 at the Southeast corner of the stadium.
-9:00am- Ticket office and Stadium gates open (Gate 9 for visiting team)
-11:00am- Kickoff
