4 Power-lifting Finalists Advance to the State Championship

The PHS Power lifting Team’s 5 finalists of the 2018 Regional Power lifting Meet competed in the South State Championship on Saturday, March 3rd in Moss Point.  Four finalists from Poplarville earned a spot in the Class 4A Power lifting State Championship which will be sometime in April in Jackson, Mississippi.

Amahad Bolton came in 2nd place in his 181 pound weight class.

Chase Shears came in 3rd place in his 198 pound weight class.

Josh Rogers came in 2nd place in his 220 pound weight class.

Zac Owen came in 3rd place in his 220 pound weight class.
