Kerri Farmer, PUE Teacher of the Year

Kerri Farmer is PUE’s Teacher of the Year..  She is currently a fourth grade teacher. She has been teaching fourth grade at PUE since 2016. Previously, she worked as an instructional technologist at Hattiesburg Public Schools for 2.5 years where she planned and delivered professional development for teachers and administrators showing them how to use technology devices. She helped teachers integrate technology into their lessons, and  managed a variety of educational software for the district. Previously, she was an elementary education teacher for 13.5 years. She has taught third, fourth and fifth grades throughout her career.  She says, “It has been my desire to teach ever since I was a small child.  Nothing has made me happier than joining the PUE team.  It is an honor to teach at PUE.”
