PLE Celebrates Breast Cancer Awareness with Kindergarten Balloon Release

On October 4th, Mrs. Alexander's Kindergarten class had a balloon release to kick off Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The students were taught the importance of regular doctor visits and staying healthy. The students were all provided a balloon to release. Attached to the balloon was a yellow tag with the school's information and email addresses. The class has already had two phone calls of balloons found! One balloon was found north of Lumberton on the edge of a cow field and one balloon was found on the side of the road in Baxterville! The students have been tracking the mileage and looking up the locations on google Earth and google maps! What an exciting time in Kindergarten!
