Guest Speaker for AEST

Sabrina Cummings, Conservation Biologist/Outreach Educator Mississippi Natural Science Museum, spoke to the Agriculture,Environment ,Science, and Technology Classes Thursday, October 22, 2015.  Ms. Cummings talked to the students about the physical characteristics and behaviors of Mississippi mammals and reptiles.  She explained that all animals play a part in the environment, even snakes and how our endangered animals are protected by law.  She brought animal (Skunk and Red Fox) pelts, (Black Bear and Bob Cat) skulls, and snake skeletons for the students to examine.  Ms. Cummings also brought live animals, box turtle,slider turtle, alligator, and rat snake for the students to see and touch.
